Meet The Team

Marian Adams - Partner

Marian is a Senior Accountant and leads the accounting team.

She has been with the firm since 1976 and over the years she has gained a wealth of experience in the areas of Income Tax, Capital Gains Tax, GST and Superannuation.

Marian is passionate about tax planning with her clients and she believes part of our client brief is to help clients minimise their tax liability within the guidelines. She really believes in the expression, "Failing to plan is planning to fail".

She also believes that her client brief includes helping clients grow their wealth and increasingly Self Managed Superannuation has become the primary vehicle to use.

With a family background in farming, Marian is a primary production expert.

  • Bachelor of Business (Accounting)
  • Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA)
  • Registered Taxation Agent.

Michael Hartley - Accountant 

Michael brings many years of experience and expertise with business and individual tax, Michael specialises in Self Managed Super Funds and is our "Superman". Michael is always up to date with the very regulated SMSF rules.  Michael is keen to build and maintain trusting  long term relationships with his clients, he is passionate about the success of his clients and his 20 years plus experience in public accounting provides with a deep understanding of the compliance and taxation needs of clients in the small business sector.

Michael has two beautiful daughters and is a keen hockey player.

Helen Woolley - Administration

Helen has been with the firm since 2012 and has considerable background experience working in accounting firms and previously managing the administrative side of the family business, Helen understands the issues and pressures of running a business and juggling work life balance. Helen is responsible for receptionist duties, correspondence, debtors, daily banking and tax lodgements and liaison with the Australian Taxation Office, she manages all our ASIC lodgements and assists with the preparation of client BAS’s and income tax returns. Helen is responsible for the administration of the firm and endeavours to improve systems at all times.

Helen enjoys working in a busy vibrant office and likes meeting the clients and putting a face to name and getting to know them.   Helen can assist you with scheduling appointments, any administrative, ASIC or account enquires and if she cant help you she will certainly  direct you to the appropriate  team member.  Helen‘s friendly nature makes it easy to communicate with her and she is happy to assist the valued clients in any way she can.

Outside the office she enjoys her racquetball and is the treasurer of the club. Helen enjoys music, cycling, walking her dog Pikachu and spending time with her partner and her 4 children who keep her very busy.
